Tatyanny Griffiths

Dr. Tatyanny Griffiths graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in August of 2018 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). After graduation, she started her career as a Travel Physical therapist, traveling from Texas to New Mexico, California, and Connecticut working at different Outpatient Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy clinics. Once COVID started, travel therapy took a hit like most of the country and she moved back to Dallas where she worked at 2 different physician owned practices (STAR Orthopedics and Carrell Clinic).  To further her skill set, she received a certification in Dry Needling to allow her to provide the best care for her patients.

While working as a Full-Time PT, she pursued her board certification in Orthopedics, earning her the specialty certification as an Orthopedic Clinic Specialist (OCS), making her qualified to treat any orthopedic condition “resulting from the dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system and its related neurovascular components” as per the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

As a life-long soccer player, playing since the age of 3 and obtaining an athletics scholarship to play during her college years at Midwestern State University, she always had a passion for learning how to treat and care for patients with orthopedic injuries. Having an athletic background has allowed her to help athletes return to injury and has been able to work with professionals in the NFL, MLB, MLS and NBA.

Throughout my journey I recognized that the corporate world did not allow me to spend sufficient quality time with my patients. I found myself in a repetitive cycle of seeing 3-4 patients an hour and decided that wasn't the type of therapy I wanted to provide. My patient population varied from patients who were seeking treatment as the result of some type of pain or pre/post surgery that was impacting their quality of life. I wanted to provide patients with a community of hard-working individuals while still providing individualized, patient-focused treatments with the ultimate goal of helping them to return to what they love.
As someone that grew up playing collegiate soccer, I know how hard it can be to be out of the game and I enjoy helping my athletes return to the sport they love. I also enjoy helping individuals that have had a surgery return to their passion.
